Properties and purpose:

• Thanks to its naturally occurring caffeine, amino acids (L-theanine), vitamins, and minerals, matcha has a stimulating effect while also promoting relaxation and well-being. According to science, matcha is a kind of miracle supplement. It makes you feel good and energized throughout the day. Remember, green tea contains caffeine, and matcha is an even more caffeinated form of green tea, containing about 34 mg of caffeine, while traditional green tea averages about 30 mg and espresso about 60 mg. However, the L-theanine in matcha prolongs its mood and enhances its effects. 
• Matcha contains over 137 times more antioxidants than regular green tea.
